Hello, I’m Tina.

Upon making the transition from ‘Graduation’ to a brief stint in ‘Government’, then a number of years at the ‘SPCA’, I continue to hone my craft by remaining exposed to the various many fields and aspects surrounding the world of Veterinary Sciences and Pet Care. A method some may call the deep end, though after 7 years of study, and almost 10 in the field, I believe I’ve been exposed to a broad understanding and regard of it all. Most of which served as the catalyst to embarking on and discovering this moment in Private Practice.

Little did I know I’d be surrounded by the glorious insanity, pure genius, and tomfoolery, compliments of the animals here at Allen’s Nek. Thankfully I truly love animals.  Being one myself, well, at least once a month, I reckon I fit in just fine 😉

The girl from the mother city to Pretoria to Jozi. Your typical glass-half-full kind of chick, deceivingly little in stature, *insert the infamous dynamite quote here*, with the bubbly personality of a bottle of champers, cool and collected most of her days, who need I say, appreciates and adores the delicate art and responsibility in looking after our animals.

Right here, I’m pretty acclimatised. Having grown up around 2 brothers and recently secretly getting hitched to a charming, fun-loving animal himself, I’d say I’m good.

Dreams I enjoy exploring beyond this passion, are my loves for cooking, creative writing, playing my musical instrument, dancing, floodlit tennis, and early morning Yoga. Being all about balance.

Follow my thoughts, discoveries, and shenanigans on this crazy beautiful animal world, right here on our Blog.

Amid all this talk about animals, I truly look forward to delivering great care, expertise, and attention to yours, at our next appointment.

Sincerely,
Doc Tina
